Our winery’s philosophy was born from the vision of its owner, David Wittig, an American who deeply believed in the potential of the Greek land and the Greek vineyard. With respect for tradition and a modern mindset, David came to Greece with a clear goal: to craft high-quality Greek wines and introduce the Greek vineyard to the global wine community.
After extensive research and in-depth study, the choice of Amyntaio was a conscious one. A region with a rich winemaking heritage, a unique microclimate and ideal conditions for producing premium wines, Amyntaio is home to Xinomavro, one of Greece’s most iconic indigenous grape varieties.
Our journey began with Xinomavro, crafting rosé and red wines that highlight the variety’s freshness, elegance and distinctive character. Over time, we further explored its potential, introducing a refined Blanc de Noir, making the most of the local vineyards and the dynamic terroir of Amyntaio. Each of our wines represents a contemporary and authentic expression of Xinomavro, rooted in respect for the land and its identity.
At the same time, the region also offers excellent conditions for Assyrtiko. For this reason, we added to our portfolio an inland Assyrtiko, characterized by vibrant acidity, mineral expression and outstanding quality, perfectly complementing our philosophy.
Alongside Amyntaio , our exploration led us to Rapsani , a place where Xinomavro reveals a different yet equally distinctive expression. Through close collaboration with local viticulturists and deep respect for local tradition , we created our own Rapsani , highlighting another gacet of the variety and the unique character of the region .
